KILL IT WITH FIRE BLOOD MAGIC

“Change is coming to the world. Many fear change and will fight it with every fibre of their being. But sometimes, change is what they need the most. Sometimes, change is what sets them free.”

#i typed DA:P who knows what that could possibly allude to

Dragon Age: Pain.
(DA:A actually stands for Dragon Age: Agony.)

Desire Demon…
What is perspective? and anatomy? Her face looks strange… And women with horns instead of hair are difficult to draw o__O”
Does this qualify as NSFW? I guess it does in some way…

The anatomy is great, I love it. *___*

Merrill

impressioniste:

I really like the dynamic between Isabela and Merrill in DA2 because I feel like Isabela acts like a caring big sister figure without outright infantilizing Merrill.

Part of the reason why I don’t personally fancy a lot of the Hawke-Merrill relationship dynamic, especially in a romance, is because it seems so infantilizing and doesn’t allow for her to take responsibility for her actions or mistakes most of the time. I mean, that’s why she was trying to leave her clan, because that’s how she felt treated there, particularly by the Keeper.

Conversely, Anders and Fenris are just outright cruel to her most of the time, and Aveline seems to try to care, but ultimately there’s a sort of, ‘you’re strange to me and I don’t understand’ comprehension barrier between them.

Merrill is honestly a lot less stupid, a lot more perceptive, a lot more mature, a lot more independent, and a lot less flighty than people give her credit for. A lot of her ‘idiot’ moments come from cultureshock and language barrier issues, not intelligence and aptitude issues.

She’s very caring and very funny, but she also has a backbone of steel. She is almost deceptively tough. She’s also amazingly self-aware. She knows very well that people think she’s stupid and childish. And she just lets it roll off, most of the time.

She does stupid things and has flaws just like all the other characters, but I feel like the game did her a disservice by sort of encouraging people to see her as ‘childlike’ over all else, unless they really invest time in digging past the surface.
